which took place at about 11.00 hours on 12th May, 1940.

Actually the junk people were unable to identify the aeroplanes

as being Japanese.

The junk did not receive a direct hit and was undamaged, five

of the crew were struck by splinters when a nereby junk received a 1

direct hit (no report of this to date).
